Currently, the Burning Flower Memorial Fund in the process of setting up a variety of summer camp scholarships to students within Cy-Fair ISD. More details will follow soon. Goal is to award first scholarships on February 2. |

To honor Julia’s memory and to help fulfill her vision, we will be collecting stuffed animals on Saturday and Sunday, December 7th and 8th, 2024 at Zube Park - 17400 Roberts Rd, Hockley, TX during the tournament to benefit the Houston Police Department, Child Advocates, and area law enforcement agencies.
Julia was beginning her quest to attain the Silver Award for Girl Scouts. Her idea was to gather stuffed animals for the Houston Police Department for homicide detective to give to children to hold for comfort in times of crisis.
All tournament participants are asked to donate a new small stuffed animal to this worthy cause. And is expected to become an annual tradition for Cy-Fair’s Burning Flower Lacrosse Classic. |
